Keeping with our commitment to continued education, we sent our Floor Manager Sue to New York City to attend the Bumble and bumble Business Immersion class. She returned to the salon full of product knowledge and big bumble ideas. Here are some photos from her trip!

Welcome to the First Annual James Madison Salon Oscars Style Awards!

Much like the salon, each of these lovely ladies changed her look! 
How do you like their new colors?

Restyling an entire salon takes an eye for design, a little elbow grease, and a lot of patience. 
Luckily, we are paired with the best in the business and our renovation is going exceptionally well. 

The change is 80% complete; the energy in the salon has transformed. Our deep, warm colors and classic lighting are simultaneously soothing and refreshing. The redesigned interior is inviting and spacious, and natural light is abundant. We've mixed the new (shimmering floor to ceiling drapes) with the old (our much adored modern chandelier) to create a spectacular reinvention that stays true to the James Madison image.

The last piece to the puzzle is our dazzling storefront. Like our Metropolis neighbors, we will have a bold street entrance to connect us to the vibrant city and bring our new look together.

Happy Holidays from all of us at James Madison Salon! 2012 seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye. And yet, as we wind down the year, we look back at all of our great accomplishments and look ahead to what 2013 brings.
 

We spent a great part of the year planning our renovation (set to be completed in early January) which will dramatically change the look of the salon, with a street storefront and a completely remodeled interior. With the help of Johnson Studios, Tauche Designs, WGJ Designs, Geyer Construction, and Jamestown Properties, it will be impossible to miss us. Think of 2013 as our grand coming-out.

This holiday season, continuing into 2013, we will be working with several organizations to share our talent and success with those who need it most. 

Charity: We are collecting toys for Toys for Tots throughout the month of December, sponsoring Cupid's Undie Run, to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation, and volunteering with the Atlanta Day Shelter to give a little hair TLC to the women who need it most. 

Martini Night: To everyone's excitement, we are bringing back Martini Night at the salon. For those of you who remember this lavish weekly event, get excited. Your Wednesday nights just improved. For the newcomers, you're in for a treat. Expect personalized invitations in early 2013.

Bumble and bumble Further Education: Throughout the coming year, we are flying each of our stylists and colorists to New York City for continuing education. In the midst of this international style hub of a city, each will be immersed in Bumble technique and product knowledge. Not only will each undoubtedly be inspired, but also challenged to expand their expertise.

Fall in Atlanta is at its colorful peak, and winter is quickly approaching (how is it Thanksgiving already?).

After a long year of dreaming and designing and perfecting our vision for an even more stunning salon, we are proud to announce our upcoming renovation.

With the help of major Atlanta talent, James Madison Salon will transform into the vision of premier style and service.

Renovations will begin January 3 and conclude in approximately three salon days. During that period, guest coordinators will be available during normal business hours for any scheduling needs. We will keep you updated if there are any changes.
